Basketball intramurals began on April 11, where teams consisting of 5 students play against other students for the title of Basketball Intramural Champions for the 2007-2008 School Year. The games are held during lunch in the Gym every Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students come out to show their support for their friends by encouraging them and cheering them on to a victory on the sidelines. Intramurals allow students who usually do not play basketball the opportunity to show of their basketball skills. Junior Jennifer Dean who plays in the intramurals says, “The intramurals allow me to interactive with students that I usually would not interact with.” Overall, the intramurals allow students to have fun and interact with fellow students!
