Broadcast students from the Convergence Media magnet help make Ariston, the district’s new educational show a reality. Four broadcast students under the direction of R2TV’s Joe Burke ran cameras, the teleprompter and sound board for the show. “The district needed a crew for their production and it gives the students real life experience in video production”, commented Lynn Washington, broadcast teacher. The district is embarking on a bimonthly education show hosted by Theresa Riley, Richland 2 Public Information Coordinator focusing on information about educational programs and activities in the district. Look for the show on R2TV now and know that RN students are making it happen.
