The objectives of the iLink Technology Magnet program are as follows:
Create a technology-savvy 21st century leader.
Provide the opportunity to learn and practice applicable skills (web page design, media journalism, information management, digital history, specialized technology skills in various career paths).
Learn project and information management skills for both individual and team- dependent projects.
Develop an individual work ethic.
Foster an ability to transfer knowledge and skills beyond the classroom.
Produce products that display the student’s academic and technology skills through quality research.
Produce students who are successful on both state and national tests.
Integrate technology and academics in ways that contribute to the success of all learners.
Display proficiency in all technology skills.
Take an active role in the development of civic responsibilities.
